Why this exists
Group cover is usually only available to people who are employed full-time. The PlainSimple Association changes that by bringing film and entertainment freelancers together under one association, so members can access insurance benefits normally reserved for formal workplaces.

We negotiate affordable insurance cover options with participating insurance providers, exclusively for association members. We’re able to do this under the group cover umbrella.

For example, the entry-level Momentum Health4Me health insurance plan is available to the general public at R709 per month.

Members of The PlainSimple Association may access this plan at R359 per month with added benefits – a 49% saving on monthly premiums.

In addition to negotiating discounted group premiums, The PlainSimple Association works to secure added value for members wherever possible.

Health4Me plans taken through PlainSimple membership are priced according to the corporate (group) brochure — meaning members access the lowest rates available.

Where applicable, members may also benefit from additional cover components such as:
